To Cardio or Not to Cardio???

Running and endurance exercise has often been promoted as the best way to lose weight. But is it best when you have PCOS? Cardiovascular health is important: strengthening our heart, lungs, and our vascular system protects us from heart attacks, strokes etc. however, for someone with PCOS, it also puts them into an elevated state of stress, which could make the problem worse.

An alternative to steady state cardio is HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training has been proven to be just as effective at improving cardiovascular health. It is also shown to burn the same number of calories. However, it has also shown a more significant decrease in weight & fat loss and improvement in insulin sensitivity.

So... To Cardio or Not to Cardio??
