So I've seen these pop up on the odd occasion. And as a mum I can definitely see the appeal. Baby gets a nice snuggle, your hands-free and you get a little workout. HOWEVER, the problem with these types of classes (aside from the fact that both my kids would basically puke on me) is that they are very rarely run by someone with Pre & Post Natal Exercise qualifications who would know what considerations to take to ensure the safety of the mother. They very rarely take into consideration your weakened core, your pelvic floor, c-section complications or any modifications that my need to be done. Rehabbing correctly after your baby, might seem like the slow or boring approach, but it will speed up your recovery ensuring you can get back to other activities quicker.
